Connecting to ZNC, with MIRC without having to provide logon details every single time or re-connect. Select Server; Edit your ZNC server; In the first password field, fill in your username followed a: and finally, the password, like this: username/networkname:password This way MIRC will automatically authenticate with ZNC without /quote pass. You can also tell mIRC to show only channels with a minimum and a maximum number of people. If you specify a #channel then mIRC will only list information for that channel. If you specify wildcards, eg.mirc. then mIRC will list all channels that contain the word mirc in them.
mIRC is an IRC client that can be used to chat with other people on IRC networks around the world. To use mIRC, you need to connect to an IRC network. An IRC network is made up one or more IRC servers that are all connected to each other. By connecting to any of the servers on a particular network, you will see the same channels and people.
IRC networks are created, owned, and run by thousands of independent individuals and organizations around the world and there are many hundreds, if not thousands, of such networks.
mIRC comes with a default list of IRC networks and servers. If you are using an old list of servers, you can update your servers by downloading the latest servers.ini file and saving it to the folder where you installed mIRC.
